 Images that Touch the Heart 

The Lu Otto Signature Collection is a photography exhibit and a popular visiting site for residents and visitors to Hot Springs Village.

Lu's images have defined the face of the Village for more than a decade. He draws his subjects from nature and his photography celebrates the beauty of the great outdoors. Birds, blooms and butterflies catch his eye. Skylines and sunsets turn his head. Golf greens and fairways, lakeshores and country creeks, old barns and flowering dogwoods, Lu captures them all through the lens on his cameras.

As a returned research scientist, trying out new ideas, paying careful attention to detail, and looking at things from different perspectives comes naturally to him -- traits that serve him well in photography. Lu honed in his skills through study, experimentation and practice. He has an eye for his craft and has mastered an array of digital-editing techniques.

His photography has taken Best of Show awards and blue ribbons in multiple venues. His work has been honored by the Arkansas Press Association. His pictures of antique cars are published in the Hilton Head Sports & Classic Car Auction Catalogue.  His images hang in private homes, professional and business offices throughout the U.S.

Lu's photography goals are:

• To share what he sees through the lens of the camera
• To help others appreciate the beauty around us
• And to encourage us all to preserve and protect the surroundings we enjoy

Lu's images appear nationally in web sites, magazine, on book covers and note cards. At the request of the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism, he authorized use of hundreds of his pictures to promote the interests of the state. the Hot Springs Village Property Owners Association, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Golf Department use his images frequently. 

The Lu Otto Signature Collection is housed in the east end RE/MAX building, 1400 Desoto Boulevard, and is available for your visiting pleasure. ENJOY!

 Lu's Signature Photography Collection is also on loan at the Granada Clubhouse in Hot Springs Village.
